Point being, you just can't say a fluted cylinder is always a 22 LR or a non-fluted is always a 22 Mag. I also have two 22 LR cylinders that are non-fluted. Most of my convertibles have a non-fluted 22 Mag cylinder but I have a couple that are fluted. My Bisley Single-Six has a "B" and the last 3 of the S/N and my Colorado Centennial (RCC) has both cylinder marked with a "C" and the last 3. ![]() I've seen this "both cylinders marked with the last 3" many times, even in the Blue Book of Gun Values but it isn't always true.įurther, I have two different Single-Sixes where one cylinder has a "D" and the last 3 digits. ![]() the marking should be the last three digits of the serial number and if both cylinders are marked, they should both be the same serial number. Some of my convertibles have both cylinders marked with an electric pencil. ![]() Just a comment on convertible cylinders and the last 3 of the S/N ….
